- Put on your jewelry after you have applied lotion, makeup, perfume or hand sanitizer
- Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, or doing any other activity that may cause you to sweat
- Remove your jewelry if you will be bringing it into contact with something hard (For example, take off your ring before weight lifting)
- Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, such as a jewelry box or a ziplock bag (a soft bag, one per piece of jewelry, is ideal)
